The Delachaise is not serving your typical bar food by a long stretch. With an extensive wine list, a wall of liquors from around the world and a bit more upscale feel, it’s a great spot for late night dining. Go a bit earlier and grab a seat on the patio for al fresco dining, but be aware that there is no table service – you’ll need to order at the bar and collect your number so they know what table to deliver your food to.
During our visits, we’ve sampled the cheese platters (perfect temps on them), the salmon johnny cakes topped with creme fraiche and cavier (as good as it sounds), the Cuban Twice Cooked Pork and the steak topped with bleu cheese butter. Every dish was done well.
And for those people who say nothing tastes as good as skinny feels?
I say “french fries cooked in goose fat”.
