Shotgun House Tour 2018
One of the most anticipated events of the spring is the annual Shotgun House Tour that the PRC (Preservation Resource Center) organizes. Each year, a selection of privately owned homes that represent the best of our local architecture open their doors to the public for tours.

This year there will be 6 Algiers Point homes on tour, plus 3 bonus properties, including the gorgeous Mt. Olivet Episcopal Church at 530 Pelican Avenue. If you haven’t been to this lovely West Bank community, this is your chance to explore the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans.
Tickets are now on sale for $20 for PRC members and $25 for non-members. Prices increase to $30 per person the day of the tour.
Want to attend the shotgun house tour free?
If you volunteer as a docent in one of the homes, you’ll get a free ticket in return (registration here).
