Fun and free, taking a stroll through the Miracle on Fulton Street light display is a relaxing way to spend an evening. Open from now through January 2, 2013, Fulton Street is filled with holiday lights, a 30 foot Christmas tree and hourly snowfalls.
On Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-10 pm, there are roaming carolers, pictures with Santa and visit with reindeer. Even if you don’t have kids, it’s a relaxing walk in the best city in the world.

Brigitte, we parked at one of the public lots on Tchoupitoulas by the Piazza d’Italia. Payed by the hour and walked about 2-3 blocks. There was plenty of foot traffic around so I felt completely safe.
