Louisiana Mortgage Recording Fees
Effective today, August 1, 2017, the cost of mortgage recording fees for a real estate sale or mortgage is increasing. And not by a few dollars.
The Louisiana legislature established new uniform recording fees for every parish in the state, and the projected fees for Orleans and Jefferson Parishes are jumping up enough that both homebuyers and those refinancing a mortgage need to take notice. Closing costs will increase whether you are making a new purchase or just refinancing your existing mortgage. You can also contact a financial advisor for help on how to get rid of your bad credit mortgage.
