New Orleans Waterfront Homes for Sale
Despite that big old Lake Pontchartrain that borders Orleans Parish, there are not nearly as many New Orleans waterfront homes as you would think. West End has condos with lake views and boat houses right on the water, and Venetian Isles subdivision offers nothing but waterfront homes, with docks on every property, but most other places don’t fit the traditional idea of waterfront.
Don’t be surprised if “waterfront” doesn’t mean the lake here. It could be a bayou or a canal, since agents tend to take a lot of liberties in their property descriptions.
