Clara Williams is a country girl who fell in love with New Orleans and has no plan to ever leave. A Virginia native, she now calls the Bywater/9th Ward her stomping grounds. Clara loves so many aspects of the city- particularly the accessible size, old-world architecture, funky people, and tropical climate.
With a background in art/design, horticulture, and the service industry, Clara brings some serious skills to real estate.
In her free time, Clara likes to hang out with her 13-year-young dog at the levee, walk or bike around town, or play music with her friends.
My New Orleans with Clara Williams REALTOR
What’s your favorite architecture?
I am a sucker for the Victorian Sidehall Shotgun. It’s just so classy and beautiful and every one has different embellishments to make it unique. Open those big windows and let the air blow through!
What’s an underrated neighborhood?
Old Arabi is a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Gets my vote.
Money’s no object – where would you live?
If money was no object I know exactly where I would live: right on the levee in Holy Cross in a single shotgun on 3 lots (at least!). I’m a big fan of small houses and big yards.
What’s the most walkable neighborhood?
I’d say the Bywater. People are always outside on the stoop and chatting with neighbors. There are enough bars, restaurants, shops and parks sprinkled around that you can walk to get whatever you need, yet it’s still heavily residential and doesn’t feel like it’s turning into a strip mall.
