Lisa Julien is a New Orleans native. She is a graduate of Ursuline Academy (go Skips!) and has lived in Uptown New Orleans most of her life.
Having been a parishioner at St. Phillip the Apostle Church, Lisa spent most of her childhood as an honorary community member of the upper 9th ward and St. Roch area.
She has a B.A. from Emerson College in Boston, MA and an A.A.S. from Parsons School of Design at The New School in New York, NY.
Lisa spends her spare time styling her afro, reading sci-fi novels, and eating tacos.
