I took a walk through the city yesterday, absorbing all of the activity surrounding the Superbowl. Despite the laser focus of the TV world on the typical tourist stuff, I found myself, as always, drawn to the simplicity of our New Orleans street musicians.
Playing from their hearts for nothing more than the generosity of the people watching, these talented musicians cover multiple genres and are a glimpse of the soul of the city.
