City Park New Orleans Neighborhood
Most of the neighborhood is the actual park, which is huge. But there is a selection of residences south of the park, along Bayou St. John and off of City Park Avenue.
The predominant architecture that you’ll find around City Park is raised basement, raised cottages and Arts & Crafts cottages.
Need off street parking? You’ve got a 50/50 shot at finding a home with either a garage or driveway. But if public transportation is your thing, you’ll have easy access to the streetcar line.
Also in the neighborhood, you’ll find plenty of places to play or eat out. It’s an amazing community for outdoor lovers, with paddle boards, pedal boats and kayaks all available to rent right in the park. Take a jog or bike ride along one of the many paths that wind through the 1,300 acres of City Park. Visit the New Orleans Museum of Art. Take the dog over to City Bark. Or get in a game of miniature gold at City Putt. Top it off with an order of beignets and a cup of cafe au lait at Morning Call.
